Bondage Equipment You Already Have At Home

If you are just starting out your adventures in bondage, then the high cost of equipment can be quite prohibitive and curtail your experimentation. However, this need not be the case, you probably have many household items already, that with a little imagination can double up as great bondage.

Clothes Pegs Bondage Nipple ClampsClothes Pegs

These mundane items are very cheap and make great nipple clamps, but can also be highly devious when applied elsewhere below the belt. The smarting really kicks in on removal. Crank it up a notch, and run a length of string through a line of them, letting you tear them all off, one after another, as quickly or slowly as you desire.

Plastic pegs are best, no one wants splinters. Obviously, use the spring clip ones, rather than older straight pegs.

Cling Film / Saran Wrap BondageCling Film / Saran Wrap

Everyone has a roll of this in the kitchen, but it can be great for impromptu bondage. Wrap your submissive in this and they will not be escaping in a hurry. Use scissors to cut holes in the cling film wrap to gain access to their fun bits.

Don’t wrap faces – asphyxiation is bad OK. Monitor your submissive’s temperature, don’t let them get too hot. Keep some scissors handy, in case they need out in a hurry.

Chopsticks Nipple ClampsChopsticks & Rubber Bands

This recipe involves two chopsticks, held together by elastic bands wrapped around them at both ends. Then prise the chopsticks apart in the centre and clamp your submissive’s nipples between them. Simple, devious and great fun, you can find my guide to DIY nipple clamps here.

Stick with plastic chopsticks to avoid splinters (unless you love that).

Or you can spend a bit of cash and get a set of nipple clamps for as low as $5, check out our list of the best nipple clamps here.

Leather Belt BondageBelts

Spare belts are ideal for binding your submissive’s legs and arms together. Punch a few extra holes along their length, to give more flexibility.

For those into martial arts, you probably have some very nice cotton belts of good length in a selection of eye catching colours. Some of the author’s first bondage sessions involved Judo belts.

Avoid overly thin belts, they can cut in too much, possibly obstructing circulation.

Silk Scarf Blindfold GagScarfs

Silk scarfs are a classic entry into kinky play or many people. They are sensual, readily available and not too scary. You can use them to blind fold, to tie wrists and ankles together or as a gag to silence their screams of ecstasy.

Choose your knots carefully, untying can be tricky with silk scarfs.

Ice CubesIce Cubes

Once your partner is suitable tied up and looking rather hot, ice cubes can provide much entertainment. Run them over their body, tease their nipples and shock their genitals with the icy cold. See how long they can hold them in their mouth and watch them squirm.

Old Tights Pantyhose BondageOld Tights

A draw of old, laddered tights is ideal for tying up your submissive. They are soft and elastic enough to avoid discomfort, but strong enough to secure your victim. Tie their arms or legs together, or better still, tie them to something solid like a chair or table and have your wicked way.

Keep a pair of scissors handy, for untying in a hurry.

Hot Wax CandleCandles

Hot wax dripped onto your subject can be seriously hot, in a good way. Providing just enough pain to make them squeal and squirm, before you peel it off to reveal tender skin ready to tease.

Care must be taken on your choice of candles. Beeswax candles and those with added scents and colours have a high melting point, often too hot, such that the wax can burn and damage skin. Plain uncoloured and unscented candles are best. Oil the skin beforehand to help prevent marks.
